Fuel Monopoly in Rinas

The government has already announced the audition of the Rinas concessionaire while Top Channel reports that citizens are forced to pay millions each year in abusive costs. The monopoly of flights goes hand in hand with the monopoly of fuel supply for airplanes which has an impact in the ticket fares. The monopoly in question belongs to Air BP Albania whose gross profit rate varies from 50 to 52 percent. Data shows that the fuel prices in Rinas is three times higher than in any other airports in Italy. Fuel accounts for 30% of costs in the ticket fares.
